Sometimes it’s easy to be blinded by pretty packaging and alluring marketing campaigns in the beauty isle. However, a lot of the products we buy in this section contain a lot of questionable or downright harmful ingredients. In fact, some makeup and beauty products are known to be carcinogenic!

Thanks to the green movement however, at lot of us are taking a closer look at what we put on both the inside and outside of our bodies. With the internet and cell phones providing us with information quickly and easily, this trend towards eliminating chemicals won’t be stopping soon.

So, while many companies are still holding onto their old ways, there are many others that provide natural options, even in the beauty isle. Without further ado, here’s a list of my favorite organic skincare items.
