This morning, I woke up to dozens of notifications that a mass shooting had rocked Las Vegas. As I ate breakfast I watched the death toll and the number of injured rise.
40 dead 400 injured ticking upward to the current number of 58 dead and over 500 injured and still counting.
When events like this happen, many of us are left feeling the shock, pain, and reality of our just how mortal we really are. We’re also left grieving for the people whose lives have been forever altered.
It is in times like these that we sometimes forget how much we can do to make a difference.
So, here are some ways you can help right now.
Today, if you live in Nevada, consider heading over to a blood donation center and donating to help with the victims who will be need surgery. If you’re not in Nevada still consider giving blood. It takes longer for the blood to be requested and get there, but it could still help out.
If you’d like another option, the National Compassion Fund also is donating 100% of funds donated to the Las Vegas Victims.
While these steps might feel small, anything that you can do to contribute to this cause is important and will be appreciated.
Stay safe you guys.
Much love~ Kelsea
